About the Author
Hi. My name is Neil King and I created Playerama. I have been programming since I was very young. Starting with an Oric 1 computer (with a huge 16kb of memory) and moving on through the Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga computers before ending up on the PC. I learnt how to program BASIC at school and Pascal while at College, but all of the other languages are self taught. I now like to do most of my programming in Delphi, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, Flash and PIC Basic (for PIC microcontrollers). Ever since I started programming I have enjoyed creating games. From my version of Tetris on the Spectrum, a very poor 'Outrun' clone on the Link480z, an 'Operation Wolf' type game on the Amiga, to my first PC game (a simple 'Breakout' clone in Pascal) I have loved making games which others can play. Throughout my working life I have moved from the hardware side of computing to the software side (which I enjoy more) but have always had a hand in 'design'. I have created logos and advertisements for companies as well as entire Web sites. This has led me to create more business software and utilities, especially Web based applications. If you want to contact me or have any questions please use this contact form. Thank you for your interest and I hope you enjoy the site. |
